Job Description

Our client in the Construction industry is currently looking for an ADT Operator, in Kempton Park, Gauteng.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Operate articulated dump trucks (e.g. Bell B40E/B50E) to haul materials across the quarry site. Perform daily pre-start inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns. Work in coordination with excavator and loader operators for efficient loading and haulage cycles. Follow designated haul routes and adhere to site speed limits and traffic rules. Maintain the cleanliness and operational condition of the ADT. Report any incidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor. Participate in toolbox talks, safety drills, and routine operator training sessions. Assist with general duties around the quarry when required.

Education + Experience

    Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent. Valid ADT Operator Certificate issued by an accredited training provider. Minimum 2 years� experience operating ADTs in a quarry, mine, or construction environment. Must be medically fit for duty and able to pass a Mine Health and Safety medical. Ability to work shift hours, weekends, and public holidays as required. Sound knowledge of basic ADT maintenance and fault detection. Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance. Advantages/Nice to Have. Previous experience working in a Raumix or Raubex Group quarry. Familiarity with Bell ADTs (B40E, B45E, B50E) Knowledge of mine haul road safety, load management, and on-board weighing systems. First aid or SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) training certificates.
