Our client in the Financial Services industry is currently looking for an Operations Finance Manager, in Lynnwood, Pretoria.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Provide strategic financial leadership, supporting operational and executive decision-making across the business. Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, aligning them with company objectives. Analyze financial data and operational metrics, preparing detailed management reports and recommendations. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Partner with operational heads to optimize resource allocation, cost management, and financial performance. Drive working capital management, ensuring effective cash flow, debtor, and creditor controls. Monitor and manage financial risks, ensuring adherence to governance and regulatory requirements. Lead the development of business cases, feasibility studies, and financial models to support strategic initiatives. Support the CEO, CFO, and Board with financial insights, presentations, and performance tracking. Oversee audits, liaise with external auditors, and ensure timely completion of statutory reporting. Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and alignment with company objectives. Drive continuous improvement of finance systems, reporting tools, and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate cross-functionally to align operational and financial strategies, ensuring overall business success. Ensure SHEQ compliance and promote ethical, transparent financial management practices across the organization.

Education + Experience

    BCom Honours Degree in Accounting/Finance with completed articles (essential) Registered CA(SA) designation will be highly advantageous. Minimum 8 �10 years� post-articles experience, with strong exposure to both finance and operations. Proven track record in financial management within a large or listed organization. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and compliance frameworks. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. High level of business acumen, commercial awareness, and strategic insight. Exceptional leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools. Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver results to strict deadlines. Professional, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding integrity and confidentiality.
