Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Content Development and Delivery:
Create engaging, accurate, and brand-aligned copy for various channels (web, print, video, internal)
Produce written content for product blurbs, catalogues, articles, scripts, staff features, and more.
Ensure all copy is completed to brief, on time, and fit for purpose.
Editorial Accuracy & Quality Control:
Edit and proofread marketing materials to ensure clarity, grammar, spelling, and tone consistency.
Uphold high standards of accuracy and alignment with brand/editorial guidelines.
Perform content reviews to identify and correct inconsistencies or errors.
Brand Voice & Messaging Consistency:
Apply and maintain a consistent brand voice across all copy, formats, and platforms.
Collaborate with marketing leadership to refine tone of voice guidelines when needed.
Act as a quality gatekeeper for written communication within the department
Internal & External Storytelling:
Craft meaningful employee profiles, human stories, and staff features for internal communication tools (e.g. staff books, yearbooks).
Write compelling interview-based content, including question development and narrative shaping.
Support HR and comms teams in articulating culture and people-focused messaging.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
Work closely with marketing, design, product, web, HR, and video teams to align messaging.
Attend creative briefings and contribute copy ideas and content solutions.
Adapt copy for use across different media and platforms as required.
Content Planning & Workflow Management:
Manage content deadlines and contribute to campaign or content calendars.
Maintain organized records of version-controlled copy and approvals.
Help identify content needs or gaps and suggest solutions proactively
Catalogue Content Integration & Data Accuracy:
Manage the ingestion of product information (names, codes, colours, images, and other attributes) into catalogue pages using EasyCatalogue and structured Excel spreadsheets.
Gather, format, and update source spreadsheets to meet catalogue layout requirements.
Ensure product data is accurate, complete, and aligned across both the source files and the catalogue output.
Review catalogue pages for data consistency, identify errors or mismatches, and update the spreadsheet accordingly.
Liaise with design and product teams to resolve data gaps or discrepancies during catalogue production.
Maintain meticulous records of content updates to ensure traceability and accountability.
