Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Sales and Customer Management:
Manage and respond to sales leads via email, calls, and CRM tools.
Secure new business by actively targeting and developing opportunities for UPS products.
Engage with customers to understand their needs, present product solutions, and close deals.
Follow up with leads through outbound calls, emails, and other outreach methods.
Provide support to walk-in or call-in customers by preparing and sending quotes.
Answer customer queries, resolve concerns, and provide accurate product information.
Upsell additional products and services where appropriate.
Quotations, Tenders and Pricing:
Develop and maintain sales quotations, tender documents, and pricing templates.
Ensure all costing sheets are accurate and updated regularly to support precise quotes.
Assist with the collection of special pricing or discounts from suppliers for tender submissions.
Keep all tender support documentation up to date and audit-ready.
Sales Pipeline and Reporting:
Track and report on sales pipeline, performance metrics, and forecasts.
Update opportunities and activities on CRM and supplier portals regularly.
Collaborate with management on sales strategy, run rate business development, and opportunity prioritization.
Collaboration and Marketing Support:
Work closely with the marketing department to ensure promotional materials and technical spec sheets are current and accurate.
Support the planning and execution of sales and marketing events.
General and Administrative:
Maintain product knowledge and stay informed of industry trends and technological updates.
Conduct lead research to identify new markets or customer segments.
Perform any other reasonable duties required by the company to support sales and business growth.
