Job Description

Our client in the High-Risk Security Solutions industry is currently looking for a Sales Consultant, in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Drive sales of high-risk security services including VIP protection, riot response, and asset movement solutions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, executives, and corporate clients. Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach. Conduct thorough needs analysis and present tailored, high-level security solutions to potential clients. Stay informed on socio-political developments and risk factors to proactively offer relevant services. Collaborate with operations and risk teams to ensure seamless delivery of services post-sale. Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, pipeline management, and client interactions using CRM tools. Prepare detailed proposals and quotations, and follow up on outstanding leads and contracts. Represent the company professionally during client meetings, industry events, and business forums. Ensure after-sales support and client satisfaction for all accounts managed.

Education + Experience

    5 plus years of sales experience in security, tactical response, VIP protection, or related high-risk service industries. Demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value deals with C-suite or executive-level clients. Experience selling to the private security, logistics, or asset protection markets is an advantage. Grade 12 (Matric) Certifications in security, risk management, or close protection will be highly beneficial. Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Highly persuasive, assertive, and confident in high-pressure environments. Strong understanding of risk management and high-value asset protection. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Professional presentation and ability to engage with high-level stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently and manage a sales cycle from prospecting to close.
