Job Description

Our client in the Technology industry is currently looking for a Warehouse Administrator, in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock availability for production and sales operations. Conduct regular stock checks, audits, and cycle counts to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies. Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to manage stock replenishment, deliveries, and returns. Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality compliance. Generate stock reports, including stock movements, inventory levels, and stock aging analysis, to support decision-making and forecasting. Implement and maintain inventory management systems and procedures to optimize stock control processes and minimize inventory shrinkage. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Implement and enforce stock control policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Collaborate with sales and finance teams to reconcile stock records, sales orders, and invoices. Provide training and support to warehouse staff on stock handling procedures, safety protocols, and inventory management systems. Liaises with the branch on any operational issues and communicates this to the Warehouse Assist warehouse with curtain functions on Business Central and Ensure that invoicing to the customer has been Assist in Manual inbounds/ outbounds, PI counts (Daily). Creating new part numbers on Granite if needed Create and update all Create and update KPI Boards Create reports between company's and Transporter Daily capture of handover sheets between company's and Transporter Do comparisons between Transporter KPI report and company's Outbound Managing all stock movements, investigate and resolve any discrepancies that Ensure the warehouse is clean and tidy and that the environment is dust/dirt free, dispose of all rubbish Vehicle inspections to be done POD�s to be checked every day on return of the Driver and saved onto SharePoint, for deliveries that could not be done, the respective person who initially sent the request to be updated of same and then to be added to the next day�s delivery log. Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and In and out book to be kept up to date daily with all movement pertaining to stores and stock, keep accurate records for all inwards and outwards inventory movements. Tracking orders to ensure timely Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery. Preparing shipping documents e. invoices, purchase orders etc.

Education + Experience

    Qualifications in Warehouse & Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is a must. Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and data analysis. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to inventory management and stock control. Proven experience in warehouse and distribution administration. Must be fluent in English - written and Good Communications skills, ability to communicate on all hierarchy 3-5 Years� experience in a Logistics, Distribution Centre, and Transport and Distribution Environment Proven Experience in Granite WMS, Business Central and/or ACCPAC Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to deliver excellent customer service (Internal and External) Code 8 Driver�s License will be an added advantage Skills and Competencies required: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with quality control processes. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. Good time management and Problem-solving skills.
