Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ownership for preparation and delivery of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts in compliance with internal framework of controls.
Business partnering with Finance Manager in CoE around status of vendor and intercompany reconciliations, understand ageing and status of older items, apply commentary to reconciliations and action adjustments required to balance month end intercompany accounts.
Ensure the adherence to the internal control�s framework, collaborate information for internal audit and make recommendations for process improvements that are robust, efficient and improve controls
Provide support and undertake activities for month end close.
Lead delivery of external audit requirements.
Posting payroll information to the finance system and reconciling.
Submission of monthly/quarterly VAT returns.
Accounting for corporate and other European taxes.
Fixed asset additions and depreciation.
Maintaining leases and fixed asset schedules.
Approving supplier payments.
Weekly monitoring of unallocated payments and holding CoE to account.
Oversight and review of weekly bank reconciliations conducted by the CoE.
Manage and reconcile the cash clearing accounts.
Processing journals.
Managing freight and express job exceptions and monitor unbilled revenue.
Investigating and resolving operating system to accounting system interface failures.
Invoice, credit note, vendor/customer onboarding & credit approvals.
SUN system accrual and prepayment allocations.
Understanding expense accounts and cost centres for appropriate allocations.
Monitor financial transactions and ensure the information is accurate.
Assist with any finance related administrative functions.
Cover activities in HoF absence including weekly cash forecast.
Drive process improvements aligned with the needs of the Group.
