Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Participate in project planning sessions and annual business reviews.
Review subcontractor/vendor evaluations and panel selections.
Review and sign off daily progress reports and site activity summaries.
Conduct morning briefings or coordination meetings with site managers.
Resolve urgent resource gaps (materials, equipment, workforce)
Follow up on plant breakdowns, material delays, or absenteeism.
Enforce daily health and safety procedures and conduct site walkarounds.
Compile and present consolidated operational performance reports.
Update site-specific risk registers and mitigation plans.
Track manpower movement, project phasing, and equipment deployment.
Approve overtime, shift changes, and contract deviations.
Conduct site audits and quality control verifications.
Approve or escalate subcontractor or internal team queries.
Chair site coordination or operations meetings.
Track actual vs. planned progress on project schedules.
Review cost reports, productivity data, and daily costs.
Validate and approve plant and labour returns.
Prepare a weekly operations report for the COO or CEO.
Conduct safety inspections and close out findings.
Liaise with procurement and logistics teams on upcoming needs.
